Used Yeti Bikes for Sale
SB150, SB140, SB115 — premium Yeti mountain bikes from riders who know bikes.
Why Riders Choose Yeti
Yeti Cycles occupies a unique position in mountain biking: they make bikes that are genuinely different, not incrementally better. Their Switch Infinity suspension linkage creates a rising-rate, mid-stroke support character that no other manufacturer replicates. Yeti also makes bikes in Goldenrod, Colorado — one of the last major American bicycle manufacturers. The used Yeti market is relatively small because Yeti owners tend to keep their bikes. When a Yeti does come up for sale, it's typically from a rider upgrading within the Yeti lineup, which means you're getting a well-cared-for machine from someone who understood exactly what they owned.
Popular Models
SB150
The SB150 is Yeti's enduro weapon — 150mm rear travel, 160mm fork, built for EWS-caliber terrain. It's the bike Richie Rude has raced to multiple EWS championships. Used SB150s are increasingly available as the model has matured through multiple generations. Look for T-series (SRAM) or C-series (carbon fiber) builds.
SB140
The SB140 is Yeti's aggressive trail / light enduro bike — the sweet spot in the lineup for riders who want more capability than the SB130 without full enduro geometry. 140mm rear / 150mm fork makes it genuinely capable on technical terrain while remaining efficient on climbs.
SB130
The SB130 is Yeti's trail benchmark — 130mm rear, 140mm fork, a 29er that emphasizes climbing efficiency without compromising descending confidence. It's the most versatile bike in the Yeti lineup and the best choice for riders who do everything: XC climbs, technical descents, and everything in between.
SB115
The SB115 is Yeti's XC-influenced trail bike — a 115mm, 29er built for riders who prioritize speed and efficiency. If your local trails trend toward flow and XC rather than technical enduro, the SB115 delivers Yeti's Switch Infinity suspension magic in a lighter, faster package.
What to Look for When Buying Used
Yeti frames use their Switch Infinity linkage which requires periodic bearing maintenance. Ask about the condition of the Switch Infinity bearings — Yeti recommends inspection and lubrication annually with full replacement every 1–2 years depending on riding conditions. Also note that Yeti frame color is a significant part of the brand identity (the signature Turquoise finish is iconic) — verify the frame color matches the listing photos carefully. Yeti bikes use standard Fox suspension components across the lineup, making service straightforward.
Suspension, Drivetrain & Build Considerations
All current-generation Yeti bikes use SRAM Eagle drivetrains — GX Eagle on entry builds, X01 Eagle on mid builds, and XX1 Eagle on top-spec models. Fox suspension is standard across the lineup: Float X2 rear shock and Fox 36 or Fox 38 fork depending on the model. The component spec is well-chosen and appropriate to each frame's intended use. Yeti bikes do not come in aluminum — all current frames are carbon.
Why BidBikes vs Facebook Marketplace or Pinkbike
Yeti bikes change hands rarely, which means when one appears in a classifieds post, verifying the seller matters. BidBikes requires identity verification for all sellers and maintains on-platform communication records throughout the buying process. You know exactly who you're buying from, what condition the bike is in from detailed photo requirements, and there's accountability on both sides of the transaction.
